Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy Association
The George Dooley Memorial Foundation is proud to announce its new partnership with Lisa Salberg and the Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy Association (HCMA). HCMA is an organization very near and dear to us as George passed away suddenly and unexpectedly of Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM). The HCMA is a 501c3 organization founded in 1996 and over the past 20 years has provided services to over 5,600 HCM families, representing nearly 40,000 affected or potentially affected individuals with HCM. HCMA has educated an estimated 1 million visitors to their website making it one of the first patient advocacy websites. They have also worked to create, support or enhance over 30 HCMA recognized HCM Centers of excellence.
